Emergency Department and Trauma Center
When seconds count and minutes matter...
The Queen’s Medical Center (Queen's) has built a legacy of caring for the people of Hawaiʿi for over 158 years. From health care firsts to innovative health and wellness partnerships, we continue to invest in the health care needs of Hawaiʿi. This year, funds raised from the Benefit Dinner will support Queen’s Emergency Department (ED) and Trauma Center.
Queen’s ED and Trauma Center is at the frontline of medicine, treating a range of patients from a child’s broken arm, to an elderly stroke patient, and to a victim of a car accident.
Queen’s ED and Trauma Center provides statewide emergency care when needed most.
Queen’s ED and Trauma Center continues to be the busiest in the state with more than 66,000 emergency and including over 2,600 trauma visits in 2016. Queen’s provides quality comprehensive emergency and trauma services to patients 24-hours a day, seven days a week, regardless of a patient's ability to pay.
Proceeds raised through this year’s event will support the future expansion of Queen’s ED and Trauma Center including renovation, construction, and the purchase of vital medical equipment and technology to enhance medical care. Your generous support of the Benefit Dinner will help us to reach our fundraising net goal of $900,000.
